Spoonbills
There’s something pretty magical about finding a flock of pink Spoonbills, especially when they’re set against beautiful blue, still waters. I enjoy the abstractions of these birds and the way in which forms melt into one another as they group. Every time I see this painting, I feel a little calmer and breathe a little deeper. This 18” x 36” oil on linen completed in 2024 will be included in my upcoming Coastal exhibition, Spring 2025.
