“Ibis” is a recent painting completed in Fall 2024. This 18” x 24” Oil on Birch depicts an Ibis fishing in the shallow marshes of Estero Llano State Park. The bright red of his face and feet stand out against the detailed layers of green plants and the white reflection of the water that ties his body to the surroundings. This painting shimmers!
