Sandhill Crane, 12” x 16,” oil on linen was painted for an exhibition at Quinta Mazatlan World Birding Center. This little painting is a perfect example of the type of realism I portray in my work. What we tend to think of as separate specimens are actually intricately tied to their surroundings. Boundaries are almost porous as energies is in constant movement throughout.
