Artist Statement / CV
I believe the strength of art comes from a genuine desire to reflect one’s beliefs.  My work is the visualization of my spiritual philosophy.  It’s derived from socio-political observation, early exposure to theoretical physics; such as theories of higher dimension, string theory, and energy fields, along with visual models I naturally conjure to help navigate this sometimes difficult to understand world.  I see this life as a marriage between the spiritual and material as it exists within this particular dimension of space and time.  I believe we are connected in ways that are often unacknowledged and unrecognized.  My work therefore reflects light and movement within the structure of these temporal bodies.   Figures teeter on the edge of material and immateriality surrounded by a ubiquitous energy.
